The Different areas of Family Law where we can assist you:
CHILD MAINTENANCE
Child maintenance/child support is a compulsory payment that is made by a parent for the financial benefit of minor children when a relationship comes to an end. All parents married or not, separated, living together or divorced are required to financially support the needs of their children. Maintenance includes a reasonable provision for housing, clothing, medical care and education. Both the parents of the children have a duty to maintain their children according to their respective means and the circumstances and needs of the minor children. If the children’s parents are unable to contribute to maintenance, the grandparents will need to pay the maintenance.
CHILD CONTACT & CARE
Parents have rights and responsibilities towards their children. These rights and responsibilities include maintaining contact with the child, care for the child, contributing to the maintenance of the child and acting as a guardian of the child.
PARENTING PLAN
A parenting plan is a written agreement between the parents setting out each parents rights and responsibilities in respect of the minor children. The document is detailed and makes provision for many factors relating to the upbringing of the minor children, including where the children primarily reside, schooling, religious upbringing, financial needs and contact between the children and parents.

Spousal Maintenance is paid by one spouse to the other spouse following a divorce.
